What is management? Management guru Peter Drucker believed that the essence of management is actually to inspire and release a person's good intentions. Empathy for others, a willingness to serve others, is a form of good intentions. Being willing to help others improve their living and working environments is also a form of good intentions. The role of a manager is to inspire and release the inherent potential of people, create value, and bring happiness to others. This is the essence of management. Therefore, management ability is not only a skill but also a willingness, and anyone can learn it.

What is leadership? Leadership is increasingly being described as a key component of the 21st century workforce, requiring widespread application, rather than just for individuals who have been given leadership roles. The complexity and competitive landscape brought about by technological revolutions, artificial intelligence, globalization, and regional conservatism have created strategic discontinuities in our organizations, with blurred boundaries, shifting competition, and a need for reshaping, innovation, and knowledge sharing. The development needs of leaders have become more complex, important, and urgent.

John Kotter, the father of change, said about leadership when talking about it: "The most harmful thing about leadership is that leadership is about personal charisma and vision. You either have it or you don't. But in fact, leadership is not innate, it can be learned and honed through practice."

Kurt also believes that management and leadership are complementary and do not conflict within an organization. In today's challenging business environment, the most successful managers choose to use both management and leadership to benefit the organization.

The ancient Chinese philosopher Lao Tzu believed that "the best ruler is one whose existence is not felt; the next best is one who is loved and praised; the next is one who is feared; the worst is one who is despised."

We are living in a postmodern society, where leaders of organizations can no longer rely solely on charismatic soft power of "being liked and praised" or coercive hard power of "fear" to achieve the best leadership outcomes.

Our Advanced Leadership Workshop is based on the view of Oxford Said Business School, "We cannot fully understand the topic of leadership without analyzing the context in which leaders operate and the organizational environment in which they are situated." Today, an increasing number of leadership researchers recognize that leadership can only be understood in the mutual relationship between leaders, followers, and the environment.

In this leadership triangle, we provide systematic cognition of leadership and organizational framework for managers at different levels in the organization, helping them master and learn the necessary theoretical knowledge and framework. We guide them to think and reflect based on their team and organizational environment, and apply it to their actual work to promote and help the improvement of leadership.
